Pool Cost Guide

How it works

  1. You design the pool. ZIP code, pool type, size and the extras you actually want. Takes about a minute, no account.
  2. You see a range, not a number. Every line is priced from published unit costs scaled to your metro's labor rates, and we show the source. Rock and caliche are called out separately because they are the biggest surprise.
  3. You decide whether to be contacted. A separate, unchecked box asks whether a local pool builder may call or text you. Nothing is shared until you check it.
  4. One builder follows up, not five. We send your design and budget to a single local builder, so you get one conversation with a company that already knows what you want.
  5. The builder sets the final price after a site visit. poolcostguide.com is an independent cost guide, not a contractor.

How we're paid

The guide is free for homeowners. Builders may pay us for the quote requests we send them. We don't mark up your pool and we don't sell your information to anyone else. Details on the how we're paid page.

If we don't have local pricing for your ZIP

You still get an estimate, based on national cost data, and you can still ask for a builder to reach out.
